Account Manager – Customer Success

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Account Manager to own and grow key client relationships. This role is central to driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. The ideal candidate will be a proactive partner to our clients, adept at identifying expansion opportunities while strengthening long-term loyalty and satisfaction. 

You will be responsible for a portfolio of accounts, where you will blend strategic relationship management with a sales-focused approach to meet and exceed revenue targets. This position requires a results-driven professional who can collaborate effectively across internal teams to deliver seamless service and champion the client’s voice. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong, trusted, and long-term partnerships. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives, challenges, and needs to provide proactive, strategic solutions. 
  • Conduct regular check-ins and strategic business reviews to ensure alignment and demonstrate value. 
  • Identify, qualify, and capitalize on opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and account expansion. 
  • Develop and present customized proposals and negotiate contracts to successfully close deals. 
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets for your account portfolio. 
  • Build and maintain detailed account plans that outline strategies for retention, growth, and customer success. 
  • Track account performance and maintain an accurate sales forecast. 
  • Collaborate with internal delivery and success teams to ensure client objectives are met and satisfaction is high. 
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to ensure a seamless and supportive client experience. 
  • Communicate client feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders to help drive product and service improvements. 
  • Act as an escalation point to resolve client issues promptly and professionally. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all account activity, pipeline, and forecasts in the company CRM. 
  • Prepare and present reports on account health, sales performance, and growth projections. 

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment. 
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-lasting client relationships. 
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills. 
  • 5+ years of combined experience in sales and account management. 
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and the Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Experience managing multiple accounts concurrently while maintaining sharp attention to detail. 
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment. 
  • Experience in outsourcing/offshoring, technology, SaaS, or service-based industries. 
  • Familiarity with contract structures, pricing models, and the ability to interpret data for strategic recommendations. 
  • A high level of professionalism, personal accountability, and drive.
