The Vice President of Recruitment will lead the strategic direction and daily execution of recruitment efforts for offshore operations in the Philippines, delivering high-quality talent to meet the workforce demands of US, Australian, and UK clients. This leadership role requires deep operational knowledge of Philippine labor markets, exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, and the ability to scale high-volume and niche hiring across multiple industries including BPO, shared services, IT, healthcare, logistics, and finance.
Key Responsibilities
– Develop and execute end-to-end recruitment strategies tailored for US, AU, and UK client accounts, ensuring alignment with their SLA, compliance, and cultural requirements.
– Translate workforce forecasts into actionable hiring plans, especially for volume hiring and technical roles.
– Strengthen the employer brand in the Philippine talent market, using culturally relevant attraction strategies.
– Lead and mentor recruitment directors, managers, team leads, sourcing specialists, and recruitment operations staff.
– Implement performance management, training, and succession planning within the recruitment team.
– Monitor and optimize recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate satisfaction.
– Partner closely with local and international stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication on hiring progress, market trends, and risks.
– Actively participate in client calls, quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and client onboarding for new accounts.
– Serve as a recruitment SME in discussions with delivery, HRBP, and compliance teams.
– Lead implementation and continuous improvement of recruitment tools (ATS, CRM, AI sourcing tools).
– Standardize and document recruitment workflows, hiring playbooks, and onboarding coordination across business units.
– Manage vendor relationships (job boards, RPO partners, staffing firms) and negotiate service agreements.
– Prepare and manage the recruitment budget, including marketing, tools, and headcount forecasts.
– In-depth understanding of the Philippine labor market, sourcing strategies, and recruitment operations in an offshore/BPO environment.
– Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with global clients (US, AU, UK) and cross-functional teams.
– Expertise in high-volume, technical, and executive hiring, including managing SLAs and client recruitment KPIs.
– Proficient in using Odoo (ATS/HRIS) for end-to-end recruitment tracking, data extraction, and pipeline reporting.
– Familiarity with AI-powered recruitment tools and sourcing automation to enhance efficiency and candidate targeting.
– Strong analytical and decision-making skills; able to use data to drive hiring strategies and process improvements.
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to represent recruitment updates to C-level executives and clients.
– Agile mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving offshoring environment.
– Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Psychology, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Minimum of 10 years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in executive recruitment role within a BPO/Shared Services or offshoring setup.
– Proven success in handling recruitment for US, AU, and UK clients, with exposure to account-based recruitment delivery.
– Base Salary: Commensurate with experience
